2 parts in one volume, folio (12 x 8 in.; 305 x 203 mm). New Testament title-page dated 1576, text in roman type, double columns, 60 lines to a full column, 26 woodcut text illustrations; lacking 32 leaves (preliminary quire ***10 which includes general title, 4p6, quire B6; and  X6, Y6 and Z8 at the end), the 2 maps and plan, about 8 leaves defective with significant text loss, repair to marginal tear on NT title-page, several long tears and burn holes slightly affecting text, headlines and side-notes shaved close or cropped throughout, moderate soiling, staining, and age-darkening. Later calf paneled in blind; scratched and worn, rebacked.
