Woodcut printer's device on title-page (McKerrow 293), with A1 (blank save for signature mark) and terminal blank Sss4, woodcut initials; lacks Yy1, Zz6–Aaa2 with internal tears or gouges costing a few words, a few marginal wormholes. Contemporary panelled calf, covers with central gilt arabesque; very worn with loss, a bit shaken.
