Thick 4to (9 3/4 x 7 3/4 in.; 248 x 197). General title, separate title-page with separate register and pagination for the New Testament, fraktur type set in two columns, printer's ornaments used as headpieces, woodcut initials and tailpieces; washed and pressed with residual toning and occasional light browning, small marginal repairs to 22M2, fore-edges of last two leaves reinforced. Nineteenth-century black morocco by R.W. Smith, the spine lettered gilt in six compartments with raised bands, dark blue calf doublures with gilt dentelles, marbled free endpapers, edges gilt; extremities rubbed.
