Engraved title-page, letterpress title with woodcut arms of Great Britain within double-ruled border, roman type, text in double columns, 65 lines to the full column, New Testament title with woodcut vignette within double-ruled border, separate register and pagination, woodcut initials and tailpieces; lacks the Map of the World and two other maps, a few marginal tears cutting into text or side-notes, worm hole in quire A and worm trails in quire t costing parts of side-notes or text, inner margins of quires u–x dampstained, x3 frayed, x4 defective and repaired with cellotape. Contemporary Cambridge-stye calf; very worn, spine defective, front turn-ins cellotaped, retains 3 of 4 brass catchplates and one hasp.
