Titles with woodcut ornaments within double-ruled borders, roman type, text within ruled borders with inner and outer margins for side-notes, woodcut initials (many historiated), head- and tailpieces; Vols.I–II lack engraved titles; Vol. I: lacks Qqq4, light dampstaining throughout; Vol. II: extensive repairs to letterpress title-page, gutters of A2–4 repaired, internal tear on M4 slightly affecting text, headlines and side-notes shaved, some dampstaining along bottom margins and corners, particularly toward the end, wormtrails cutting into bottom gutter of the last 4 quires. Nineteenth-century calf, red and brown lettering pieces, edges stained red; worn, Vol. I upper board  and Vol. II lower board detached.
