Condition

Overall excellent original condition. When viewed in person the patina presents with highly nuanced coloration that is slightly more saturated than in the catalogue illustration. A few small areas of oxidation throughout, which contribute to the richness and variety of the color palette. The bronze surfaces with some light surface scratches and minor rubbing to the patina to the high points of the material, consistent with age and gentle handling. The base is oxidized and is visible in the catalogue illustration. A wonderfully complex composition that showcases the artist’s mastery of the technique.
