- Height 7 3/4 in; diam. 2 1/2 in
le corps du vase de forme cylindrique, ajouré à motifs de branchages de fleurs, reposant sur une corolle de godrons en bronze doré, bordée de motifs cordés, couronnée d’une frise de petites feuilles d’eau alternées ; surmonté d'un bandeau ajouré de bronze doré à motifs d’entrelacs et de graines avec un couvercle plat et une prise ; reposant sur un piètement à quatre pieds de cervidé et un contre-socle de section carrée.
Condition
Illustration is quite accurate, good condition overall. The mounts are in good condition except very minor stains. Both covers are restored with visible hair cracks

Catalogue Note
Une porcelaine similaire à celle ayant servi à réaliser cette paire de pots-pourri est conservée dans les collections du Metropolitan Museum of Art, à New York (inv. 79.2.1181). Il s'agit d'objets précieux directement inspirés de l'esthétique en vogue à la fin des années 1780 et des créations de bronziers comme Gouthière et Rémond.
