featuring an enamelled portrait of Nasir al-Din Shah Qajar (r.1848-96), framed by diamonds and a blue enamelled border set with gold motifs, the reverse with the Qajar coat-of-arms with lion holding a sabre behind which rises the Sun, with crown, set in a wreath on a red enamelled ground
Condition
Movement working at the time of cataloguing. Dial with some hairline cracks to 3and hands in good condition, hand setting functional. Case in good condition, engraving bright and defined, some loss of enamel to front and back, small superficial scratch to the portrait, as viewed.
