of eagle-form, the gold body decorated in polychrome enamels, the breast, wings and tail set with colourful stones with gold petalled collars, the beak, wings and tail-feathers with drop-pearl pendants, the reverse enamelled with a female portrait surrounded by floral motifs, with enamelled link for hanging

In good overall condition, enamel strong and bright, foil-backed glass, oxidisation to foil backing resulting in visible markings, original stone set in one eye missing, one of pending seed pearls from the tail replaced, as viewed.
