Description

  • bronze
the cast brass conical body decorated throughout with seven bands of chased calligraphy between scrolling floral vines and scattered flowerheads, the tall thin rim with inscriptions within a geometric design, with three link chains and hook for suspension

Condition

In fair condition, the metal oxidised with a slight green tinge, some abrasion to surface and rubbing, vestiges of original gilding, as viewed.
