- lacquer
of rectangular form with sliding tray, the lid decorated with scenes of hunting animals amidst a landscape of trees and flowers, the central lobed medallion featuring a senmurv attaching a hare, the sides echoing the same design, as well as on interior of lid, underside painted red with painted gold motifs
Condition
In generally good condition with few minor nicks, particularly to external edges, the surface with some craquelure, underside with discoloration as a result of retouching and overpainting (appears as a slightly darker red colour), as viewed.
