gouache heightened with gold on paper, depicting Mecca and Medina in the upper corners, rococo flowers beneath, 11 lines of text in Ottoman Turkish in naskh and thuluth script in black ink within cloud bands against a gold ground pricked with cintamani motifs, outer margins decorated with a scrolling rococo floral band, framed
Condition
In generally good overall condition, slight paint flaking at upper edge of painted area, minor worm holes to lower left corner, colours bright, as viewed.
