  • ink on paper with leather binding
Arabic manuscript on yellow-dyed paper, laid down on 16 album pages, bound in concertina-form, each panel with 2 lines of text in large and bold thuluth script in black ink, pointed gold rosettes separated verses, opening panel with an illuminated foliate headpiece in colours and gold, each panel with leafy flowers sprinkled within the text, ruled in colours and gold, outer margins of varying colours, final panel with spurious ascription to Hafiz Osman, leather binding with ebru boards and tooled scrolling borders

In very good overall condition, a few mild smudges, as viewed.
