Persian manuscript on paper, 196 leaves plus a flyleaf, 10-12 lines to the page, written in neat nasta'liq script in black ink, loose floral sprays in gold set within the text panels, catchwords, ruled in colours and gold, opening folio with illuminated headpiece in colours and gold comprising chinoiserie cloud bands and polychrome flowers, text within cloud bands against a gold ground, brown morocco binding with gilt-stamped panels and cartouches filled with a rigorous interlace of split-palmettes and chinoiserie cloud bands

Condition

In generally good overall condition, paper repair to opening leaves, occasional stains and smudges, pages generally clean, binding worn, with associated repair, as viewed.
