Description

  • marble
of hollowed out cylindrical form with a rectangular trough and two projecting stylised lionheads above with pierced mouths for spouts, carved archways on two levels to the angles and muqarnas to the side panels, on four short projecting feet

Condition

The surface very abraded as consistent with use (would have probably mainly been placed outdoors) and age, with some scratches and chips to extremities, the trough with some encrustation to surface, as viewed.
