Description

  • ink, gouache, gold on paper
Arabic manuscript on paper, 8 lines to the page, a large line of thuluth script enclosed by saz leaves, two lines beneath in naskh script in cloud bands against a punched gold ground, 2 oval cartouches below, one left blank, the interstices decorated with large rococo flowers, floral borders, outer margins with rococo ribbon and flower motif

Condition

In good overall condition, minor abrasions to upper line, generally bright and text bold, as viewed.
