Arabic manuscript on paper, 295 leaves plus 2 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in neat black naskh script, verses separated by gold dots, catchwords, surah headings in white within gold-ground panels with rococo floral decoration, margins ruled in gold, black and red, floral marginal devices throughout, double page illuminated frontispiece with rococo floral decoration against a gold ground pin-pricked with cintamani motifs, colophon with en suite decoration, brown morocco binding with corresponding designs and gilt scroll work borders, with flap and fitted box

Condition

In good overall condition, pages clean, ink bold and illumination bright, binding slightly worn, as viewed.
