Description

  • Silk textile mounted on wood stretcher
the dark gold-coloured ground woven with light-golden coloured silk thread, divided by horizontal chevrons into a series of alternating wide and narrow bands decorated with calligraphic inscriptions, invocations in between, mounted

Condition

Generally good, minor areas of light fraying and associated consolidation, particularly to external borders which were gently sown onto the canvas, slight discoloration to right-hand edge, as viewed.
