the tall ivory bishop of curved form with two small protrusions, the stone rook carved with two triangular angles and incised square pattern, old collection label to underside.

Condition
The bishop appears to be fragmentary as cannot stand on its own, part of one protrusion chipped, some abrasion and discoloration to surface; the rook with abrasions to surface, notably along external edges and minor chips, some encrustation, as viewed.
