Description

  • Parcel-gilt bronze
cylindriques, au col et la base resserrés, l'un à la panse moulée et ciselée d'orchidées et de branches de prunus fleuries émergeant d'un rocher, l'autre orné d'objets de lettré et de symboles auspicieux, le col décoré de rinceaux feuillagés, le pied et les lèvres agrémentés de frises de grecques, l'un avec une marque à quatre caractères archaïques Hu Wenming zhi incisée à la base (2)

Condition

Both vases have minor dents to the rim and base, and some light overall wear to the gilding. The base of the vase decorated with scholarly objects may have been replaced and is unsigned.
