Condition

The incense holder is in overall very good condition. The figure is heavily and solidly cast, the surface patinated to a beautiful dark tone with irregular bright splashes of gold. There is a dent to the figure's left knee and to the tip of the nose. The stand is made to measure and has several small areas of loss the the rim. The metal is a darker colour than the catalogue illustration suggests.
