Description

  • Brass, turquoise, wood, leather, felt, iron

Condition

Please note that the vajra has been tested and is finely and heavily cast of silver with traces of what appears to be gilding. A few of the turquoise inlays are missing. There is very minor wear to the metal. The metal is of a more silvery colour and less red than the catalogue illustration suggests. The vajra is kept in the original presentation box fitted with silk. There are areas of wear to the silk lining the cover and box. The wooden box is covered in brown leather and has silver and gold-inlaid metal fittings.
