  • Gilt-bronze
assis en sukhasana sur une double base lotiforme, la main droite tenant une tablette, la gauche en vitarka mudra, vêtu d'une longue robe monastique incisée de fleurs couvrant l'épaule gauche et retombant sur la base, le visage au front dégarni à l'expression méditative, la peau peinte à l'or, les cheveux, les yeux et les lèvres rehaussés de pigments, inscription en tibétain au dos du socle, scellée

Acquired in Drouot, Paris, 18th April 1984.

Condition

The base is sealed and covered with red paint. There is a Tibetan inscription incised across the back of the base. There is overall light wear to the gilding. There are traces of red, black and white pigments to the mouth and eyes.
