Condition

The figure is missing among other things its base, lotus flowers and large parts of the flowing ribbons, parts of the crown, the left index finger. There are several casting flaws to the front and particularly the front of the figure: a small hole where the belly joins the skirt on the front. There is a large hole to the back of the figure's right elbow. There is a ca.1 x 0.5 cm wide hole between the shoulders. There is a ca. 2 cm long stress crack to the figure's left side and a small hole under the left armpit. There is a ca. 6 x 2.5cm large casting flaw/patch across the figure's right buttock extending into the figure's left buttock. There are several patched up casting flaws to the flat base. The eyes, mouth, parts of the crown and elements of the jewelled necklace are inlaid with silver and copper. There are traces of gold paint to the face, neck and ears of the figure. The bronze is a darker tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
