assis en pralambapadasana sur une base lotiforme reposant sur un piédestal quadrangulaire, la main droite en vitarka mudra, la main gauche tenant un vase, vêtu d'une robe monastique découvrant l'épaule droite, coiffé d'un bonnet imitant les pétales de lotus et surmonté d'un vajra, le visage souligné par une fine moustache, les yeux rehaussés d'argent, la partie inférieure de la base portant l'inscription Phar rgyong tshul krims rgyal [m]tshan (Hommage à Phargyong Tsültrim Gyaltsen), la base scellée incisée d'un double vajra
Condition
The figure is heavily cast, the base sealed. There are traces of gilding to the face, back and chest, the eyes are inlaid with silver. The metal is of a darker, more saturated tone than the catalogue illustration suggests.
