assis en vajrasana sur une double base lotiforme perlée, flanqué de tiges de lotus s'épanouissant près des épaules présentant à droite une épée et à gauche un livre, les mains en dharmachakra mudra, vêtu de la longue robe monastique traditionnelle rehaussée de rinceaux floraux ciselés, le visage rond encadré par une barbe incrustee d'argent, coiffé d'un haut bonnet, les yeux mi-clos, l'expression sereine, une inscription en tibétain sur la partie inférieure de la base avec une dédicace du commanditaire, la base scellée incisée d'un double vajra
Condition
The figure is well-cast, the base sealed. A lengthy inscription is incised around the rim of the base. It is in overall very good condition with eyes and beard inlaid in silver. The colour of the metal is of a more golden tone than the catalogue illustration suggests with finely incised detailing.
