Condition

The edges of the canvas have been reinforced by white gauze strips at the top edge and to two small areas on the left and right. The medium is rich with a nice impasto predominately in the lower part of the composition. Under UV light, there are two dots of retouching in the sky to the lower part of the upper edge and to the centre of the upper edge. There are some additional thin lines along the extreme edges consistent with a frame rubbing restoration. This work is in good original condition.
