Condition

Executed on wove paper, not laid down, taped to the mount at three points along the upper edge. The sheet is time-stained. There is a tiny pinhole to the centre of the figure's neck and some scattered dots of foxing (visible in the catalogue illustration). There are artists' pinholes at the four corners and a faint crease to the lower left corner. There are remnants of glue with associated slight abrasion and foxing probably from a previous mounting along the lower edge (not visible when framed). There are some repaired abrasion and repaired tears along the extreme edges (not visible when framed). This work is in good stable condition.
