Condition

The board is sound. There are some minor surface scratches predominately to the upper left quadrant which appears to be inherent to the artist process. Under UV light, there are some scattered thin lines and dots of retouching predominately in the grey pigment to the right of the composition with some further smaller lines and dots of retouching to the figure's cheek. Apart from some slight frame-rubbing along the extreme edges with a few associated dots of retouching visible under UV light, this work is in good condition.
