Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is deeper, slightly warmer and a bit more saturated in the original work. Moreover, the image does not accurately convey the rich texture of the work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined. There are two small spots where the top layer of the thin paint is missing, both visible in the catalogue illustration, located on the upper half of the work, one by the left edge and the other at the center. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in very good condition.
