Condition
The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the overall tonality is more contrasted and brighter, the black pigment in particular.
The work is executed on its original canvas and is not relined and is in the original artist's frame.
There is one small paint lift at the center of the composition in the black paint, visible only under very close inspection. The deepest black areas present some minor, stable cracks. Two of which, located on the upper half of the composition, fluoresce under Ultra Violet light inspection.
This work is in very good condition.
