Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the sheet tends more towards cream in the original work. There are a few stains located on the lower area of the work, mainly on the figure's torso, visible in the catalogue illustration. The background, especially on the right of the figure's head, presents some small spots of foxing. There are few pinholes on the figure which seem consistent with the artist's technique and only visible under close inspection. Inspected unframed, the edges present traces of a former frame. This work is in very good original condition.
