Condition

The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration although the background is warmer in the original work. The work is executed on its original canvas and is mounted on a stretcher with extension strips. The edges are covered with bands hiding the nails that slightly adhere to the extreme edges of the painted surface, as visible in the catalogue illustration. The surface presents some classic cracks and fold marks, inherent to the artist's folding technique. Under Ultra Violet light inspection there is no evidence of restoration. This work is in excellent condition.
