- An Egyptian Pale Blue Faience Ushabti of Tious
- faience
- Height 6 3/8 in. 16.2 cm.
son of Taideret, standing on a trapezoidal base and holding the pick, hoe, and seed-sack, and wearing a braided beard and smooth tripartite wig falling to the top of the rectangular back pillar, nine lines of inscription in sunk relief in front.

Condition
Generally good and as shown. There are small nicks on the end of the nose and the beard, as well as on the knuckles. There is a small shall chip on the upper outside of the proper right foot; abrasions on the edges of the back pillar and base. Some of the glaze on the back pillar is eroded. The glaze is discolored or lightly encrusted in areas. The wig is smooth rather than striated, as it was described in the printed catalog.
