Condition
Approximately the upper half of the relief is repaired from several fragments, and the large missing areas are filled in with modern material, replacing the restorations the relief had at the time of the Mansour sale in 1952. The surface is worn in areas, and has other imperfections as shown; traces of ancient pigment remain near the bottom edge and in the inscription.

Tuthmose is known is known from several ushabtis dating to the 19th/20th Dynasty (R. Weill, "Quelques types de figurines funéraires des XIXe et XXe dynasties," Monuments Piot, 1921-1922, pp. 419-438). They were found at Tunah el-Gebel in a tomb containing the sarcophagus of a priestess of Thoth. According to Weill, her tomb and sarcophagus probably date to the 1st half of the reign of Ramesses II.
