  • An Egyptian Gneiss (Chrephren Diorite) Bowl

  • Diameter 7 1/8 in. 18.1 cm.
of deep rounded form with flat base and inward-curving rim beveled on the inside, the interior of the base rounded and centering a drilled dot and grooved circle.

Condition

One side is skillfully repaired from several fragments, and there is a small area of restoration. There are a few miniscule nicks on the edge of the rim.
