Condition

Oil on canvas. Canvas is not lined (a piece of protective cardboard sits behind the canvas and inside the stretcher). SURFACE: In generally good and probably original condition (one can see scattered individual hairs from the artist's brush); unevenly applied, drippy, dirty varnish and scattered craquelure. UNDER UV: A couple of dark spots in upper center background (may be inpainting or uneven varnish)
