Oil on canvas. Canvas is not lined (a piece of protective cardboard sits behind the canvas and inside the stretcher). SURFACE: in good condition and appears to be in original, unvarnished state; a few minor scattered areas of faint craquelure. UNDER UV: NO apparent inpainting, there are a few areas of still active pigment.
