Condition

Oil on canvas, canvas is not lined. Surface: In generally good condition aside from faint craquelure in the lettering at upper left, faint frame abrasion at upper center, lifting at the lower right corner, and a small patch at the upper center on the reverse. UNDER UV: A few scattered dots and a dash of inpainting at upper center. There is a halo of fluorescing varnish around the Coca-Cola logo behind the female figure's head.

The present work was commissioned by the Coca-Cola Company for use in advertisements of the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels.  It was also published on the back cover of the April 1958 issue of National Geographic.
