Condition

Condition: This work is in good condition. There is very minor creasing on extreme centre top edge and very small spots of discoloration on lower left section due to the age of the work. Colour: The catalogue illustration is accurate; however, the background colour tends towards a beige instead of grey white on the original work.

Catalogue Note

"She was one of my closest friends for 45 years, and most importantly my guardian angel. We worked on so many projects together and I always regretted not sitting down and having her paint my portrait; her portraits were so strong. She was also an esthete, collecting fascinating memorabilia, especially textiles and traditional costumes."
