Description
- Napoleon III, second half 19th century
- chairs 100 by 75cm.; 39¼ by 29½in.
Condition
Both pairs of chairs are highly decorative with atmospheric wear to the gilded and painted surface exposing the white gesso and red bole. The seat rails have not been inspected. Old marks and scratches consistent with age and use.
