- Napoleon III, second half 19th century
- upholstered in fine Rubelli fabric depicting wild beasts, gilt pine
along with a pair of Louis XV chairs with dark upholstery
- sofa 108 by 155cm.; 42½ by 61in.
- chairs 100 by 75cm.; 39¼ by 29½in.
Condition
A highly decorative piece in atmospherically work condition. The leopard and tiger print upholstery in good condition. The gilding and painted surface is distressed but retains good detail to the carving. Old marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
