Circular, the surface of translucent mustard-green enamel over banded wavy sunburst engine-turning and applied with leaf branches, entrelac border, ivory back, scroll strut, struck with workmaster’s initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 88 standard, scratched inventory number1949

Provenance

Purchased in the early 1990s from the relatives of Nicholas Lynn (deceased circa 1990), owner of the antique shop The Winter Palace, located in Kensington Church Street, London

Condition

Excellent condition. The surfaces with only minor scratches consistent with age. The leaf branches possibly later. The timepiece ticks when wound, but please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the clock mechanism.
