Condition

Overall in very good condition. The leather appears to be original and presents with a few scattered light surface scratches, a few minor abrasions, minor areas of wear along the edges and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The top of the standard with a small abrasion to the leather, measuring 3/8 in. in length. The lacquered metal of the shade presents with a few minor scattered surface scratches and minor surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The shade with a few very small losses to the lacquer, the largest one along the lower edge to the proper right back of the shade and measuring 1/8 x 1/8 in. The lamp is not guaranteed for electricity. A highly elegant and modernist design by Alvar Aalto.
