Condition

Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the chairs present with a rich teal and cream upholstery and is accurately represented in the catalogue illustration. The sofa has been reupholstered at some point in the history of the piece and the upholstery presents with a few surface scratches, minor scattered edge abrasions and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The proper right side with a minor loss at the Lower front corner, measuring approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and a smaller abrasion at center of the lower edge. The lower front edge with a line of small abrasions to the proper right, measuring approximately 4 1/2 inches in length, stable and only visible when looking at the underside of the sofa. The brass surfaces present with a few minor surface scratches, minor edge abrasions and a few minor areas of discoloration commensurate with age and gentle use. Two screws missing, which do not affect the solidity of the sofa, a few screws possibly replaced. A sculptural sofa, with strong geometric lines, coming from the artist's family, en suite with lots 317 and 319.
