Condition
Overall in very good original condition. The lacquer appears to be original and presents with a few minor surface scratches, a few minute scattered losses and light surface soiling consistent with age and gentle use. The standard with some minor abrasions to the lacquer , the largest one at the upper corner, measuring approximately 3/4 inch in length and not visually distracting, with a few minor restorations to the lacquer along the standard and minor oxidation. The white lacquer interior of the shade with light surface dirt and some light surface scratches consistent with age and gentle use. The brass with minor rubbing, oxidation and pitting. The lamp appears to have retained its original socket. The lamp is not guaranteed for electricity. A great example of an icon of French mid-century design.
