Condition

Overall very good condition. When viewed in person, the upholstery presents with a bright orange-pink tone and subdued light wood tone, consistent with the coloration of the catalogue illustration. This is likely an assembled set. This wood surfaces have been sensitively revarnished and present with light surface scratches, minor abrasions, and minor discolorations consistent with age and gentle use. The caming on the sofa appears to be original, and the caming to the chairs and table has likely been replaced at some point in the history of the piece. The caming in general is in overall very good condition with very few scattered minor breaks, some minor areas of discoloration, and a few small areas of adhesive residue, all only visible upon close inspection. The caming to the sofa is a slightly darker tone than that of the chairs and table, visible in the catalogue illustration. The backrest of the sofa is camed as well. The pieces have been reupholstered and the fabric is in overalls very good condition with only some light surface soiling and a few minor scattered areas of discoloration. The proper right upper corner of the sofa's backrest with a small restoration measuring approximately 1 inch in diameter with an adjacent fracture measuring approximately 2 inches which has also been restored. The proper left upper corner of the sofa's backrest with a small crack The feet of the sofa with some scattered minor chips to the bottom edges; the proper right back foot with five small chips to the bottom edge, the largest measuring approximately 3/4 in x 3/4 in. One chair with a small chip to the proper left back foot, measuring approximately 1/4 in. high, visible in the catalogue illustration. The table with a small restoration to the outer edge of one of the upper corners, visible in the catalogue illustration. One of the upper edges of the table with some old worm holes at the underside of the top, stable. The glass table top has likely been replaced and in very good condition with scattered minor surface scratches and surface soiling commensurate with gentle use. When viewed in person, the suite displays great visual presence.
