Condition
Overall good condition. Machine-woven. Pile good, very dense, approximately 1/10in. overall. Bound on all four sides, lower end with approximately 4in. of cloth backing folded under and glued, now loose at the corners. Reverse with stains and marks, not visible on face. Scattered light surface dirt. Sound fabric and good condition. An iconic carpet by Giacometti.
