Condition
Overall in very good condition. When viewed in person, the mirror displays a beautifully nuanced amber color, even richer than seen in the catalogue illustration. The surfaces with minor surface scratches, minute abrasions and light surface soiling commensurate with age and gentle use. A few glass elements with a shallow and minor edge chip, not at all visually distracting. The glass insets with a few occasional cracks scattered throughout and the resin with some scattered losses. The mirror has been sensitively stabilized, and all the glass is stable. The convex mirror appears to have been replaced at some point in the history of the piece and presents with a few surface scratches consistent with age and gentle handling. A superbly detailed mirror of great scale and intense coloration.
