Condition
Overall in very good condition. The overall surface presents with a few isolated light and minor surface scratches and minor surface soiling consistent with age and gentle handling. A very small restoration to the proper left of the panel, adjacent to the flower. Minor wear to the lacquer below the signature, visible in the catalogue illustration. When examined out of the frame, the edges are lacquered and present with some wear to the lacquer, and with a few areas of chips to the lacquer, especially to the corners, consistent with the framing and not visible when the work is framed. With a gilt wood frame, not original. Please contact the department for additional photographs of the panel framed. A spectacular work by Jean Dunand which was exhibited at the Galerie Georges Petit in 1927.
